Luke Metcalf was crucial to the Warriors performance as they held off the fast-finishing Dolphins 16-12 in Brisbane at the weekend, to post their fifth straight win.
Metcalf was one of five players to grab the maximum six Dally M votes across the weekend and sits on 30 points.
Meanwhile Warriors co-captain James Fisher-Harris is facing a ban after copping a high tackle charge in his first game back from injury.
Fisher-Harris has been charged with a careless high tackle late in the win over the Dolphins and will be suspended for one game if he enters an early guilty plea.
Fisher-Harris made the high, no-arms tackle with just three three minutes left on the clock and was sent to the sin bin, leaving his team to defend a lead that was vanishing before their eyes.
Should Fisher-Harris fight the charge at the judiciary and be found guilty he will miss two games.
The second placed Warriors host the third placed Canberra Raiders on Sunday.
