Serious injuries have been reported after a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 2, near the North Island town of Pahiatua.
Police said the crash happened at about 3pm Thursday.
State Highway 2 south of Pahiatua is closed.
Traffic is being diverted off the highway at Bridge Road to the south and Mangahao Road to the north.
The Serious Crash Unit had been advised.
