Fire crews have been battling a house fire in Paraparaumu, on the Kāpiti Coast, north of Wellington.
The blaze was reported just after 8pm Wednesday, at a home on the corner of Cypress Grove and Makarini Street, near State Highway 1.
On Wednesday night, Fire and Emergency said six fire trucks attended the fire, which had been brought under control, and no one was injured.
