A man was found dead outside a property in the Wellington suburb of Northland today, and police are working to determine what happened.
Emergency services were called to an address on Albemarle Road just before 11am on Tuesday
Detective Inspector Nick Pritchard said the death was being treated as unexplained and a scene examination was underway.
"At this time, the death is being treated as unexplained.
"Members of the Northland community can expect to see a high volume of police staff in the area as these enquiries continue," Pritchard said.
It is the third sudden death to be reported in Wellington on Tuesday.
