Police have narrowed down an area of interest in the search for missing Christchurch woman Elisabeth Nicholls.
The 79-year-old was last seen at the Chateau on the Park Hotel just before 8pm on 4 June, after disappearing from the Margaret Stoddart Retirement Village.
Nicholls also has dementia.
Officers have a possible sighting of her at the eastern end of Hagley Park, around the Park Terrace and Salisbury/Montreal Street areas around 8:25pm that night.
Police are urging anyone in the area to check their properties and to notify officers if they find anything unusual.
Police also want people across Christchurch to search their backyards, sheds and sleepouts, and look under anything where a person could seek shelter.
Officers would also like people to review any footage they have, especially for people with cameras facing the street from 8.20pm to 10pm on Wednesday, 4 June.
Detective Sergeant Luke Vaughan says while she went missing in the Riccarton area, she is physically strong and may have walked some distance.
Anyone who sees Nicholls should ring 111 immediately and use the reference number 250604/5465.
