Two people have died following a house fire in Coatesville this morning.

Emergency services were alerted to the fire just before 6.30am at a residential property on Mahoenui Valley Road.
Police said two people were located deceased inside the property.
They are currently at the scene and will be carrying out a scene examination.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
