Fire and Emergency dispatched two fire crews, but no-one was trapped and the house suffered no structural damage.
The road has been cordoned off and motorists are advised to avoid the area. Residents are being allowed through the cordon, once they have identified themselves to police on the scene.
Vehicles travelling south along the Coatesville Riverhead Highway are being diverted along Old North Road to gain access to State Highway 16.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified of the crash.
