Police say no criminal offending has been found in relation to a complaint about an electoral breach in West Auckland.
Election Services told RNZ last month that a member of the public had accused Susan Diao, an elected member of the Henderson-Massey Local Board, of interfering with or influencing voters.
Police said Thursday that no indicators of criminal offending had been identified after further enquiries.
"Police have investigated a complaint alleging a breach of the Local Electoral Act 2001 in relation to the Henderson-Massey Local Board," a police spokesperson said.
"Following a review of the information provided and further enquiries, no indicators of criminal offending were identified at this time, and the matter has been filed."
