All Whites and Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Season award.

Wood has had 20 goals this season, guiding Forest to seventh on the table with two games remaining as they pursue a place in European competition next season.

Woods' Nottingham Forest team-mate Morgan Gibbs-White is also nominated, as are league-winning Liverpool trio Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch.

Wood is rated for his deadly finishing, converting more than 30 percent of his shots into goals.

In 261 Premier League appearances, Wood has scored 89 career goals, putting him level with Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford in 44th place on the all-time list.

The award is open to a public vote on the Premier League website.
