Parliament is set to gather to pay tribute to Tāmaki Makaurau MP Takutai Tarsh Kemp, after her death on Thursday morning at the age of 50.
Flags have been flying at half mast around Wellington and MPs from across the political spectrum have been remembering the Te Pāti Māori politician.
The House will sit in a short session on Thursday to allow politicians to pay their respects before rising for the rest of the week.
