One person is dead and another seriously injured, after a motorbike crash on Waiheke Island.
Emergency services were called to Ocean View Road, Oneroa, just before 2pm, after reports that a three-wheeled bike had crashed into a tree.
One person died at the scene, while another was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Ocean View Road near Goodwin Avenue would be closed, while the serious crash unit attended the scene.
