Police say a 5-year-old boy who went missing in Taranaki overnight has since been found.
They had been asking for sightings of the boy who was described as non-verbal and severally autistic.
They say he was found safe and well on Friday morning.
Police had earlier put out an amber alert for the boy who had last been seen at 11pm on Thursday night.
It was realised he was missing at 3.30am on Friday when his parent got up early for work.
