A large scrub fire in Hawke's Bay has been extinguished.
The blaze spread over an area of about 200 metres by 400 metres, and at its peak had 10 fire trucks and two helicopters working to put it out.
Fire and Emergency says the operation has been successful and just one tanker and one pump remain at the scene.
