A woman has been arrested after allegedly strangling someone at Waikato Hospital yesterday.
Police confirmed they were called to the assault at the hospital around midday.
They said the victim had minor injuries.
A 46-year-old woman has been charged with impeding breathing by strangulation.
She is set to appear at Hamilton District Court later this month.
Health New Zealand has been approached for comment.
