One person has died after a logging truck crash in the Tasman region.
Emergency services were called to Wairoa Gorge Road in Wairoa Valley shortly after 9.30am on Thursday.
Police said the driver was unresponsive when emergency services arrived at the scene and was unable to be revived.
The road is closed while the serious crash unit investigates the cause, including if weather conditions contributed.
