A person has been taken to hospital after a bus crashed in Palmerston North this morning.
The collision happened on Mihaere Drive in the suburb of Kelvin Grove at 7:50am Thursday.
St John told RNZ one ambulance a rapid response unit attended. One person suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Palmerston North Hospital.

Horizons Regional Council transport services manager Mark Read told RNZ no passengers were on the bus when it crashed.
Read said both the council and transport operator Tranzit would under take an investigation into the collision.
A Fire and Emergency operational support vehicle was still at the scene.
