A 12-year-old has suffered moderate injuries after a bus crashed into a planter box in Auckland's North Shore on Monday afternoon.
The police said a pedestrian also suffered moderate injuries after the struck planter box then hit them on Beach Road, in Torbay, around 3.30pm.
St John ambulance said the 12-year-old was taken to North Shore Hospital with moderate injuries.
Auckland Transport (AT) said it understood two people were injured in the crash.
AT confirmed the bus involved in the crash was a school bus run by its contracted bus operator Ritchies.
This is the second bus crash involving a Ritchies-operated vehicle in less than a week.
Last Wednesday, five students were hurt - two of them seriously - after a Ritchies-operated bus crashed into a tree in Pahurehure.
Ritchies has been approached for comment.
