A crash involving at least four vehicles blocked part of a State Highway 1 in Bluff on Monday morning.
Police said one of the four vehicles was blocking both lanes between Awarua Siding Road and Stanley Township Road.
They asked motorists to avoid the area as the clean-up could take some time.
No one was injured.
