Two people have been arrested after a fire at a workshop on Ellis Street in Frankton on 10 March.
Detective Sergeant Matt Lee said a 46-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman have been arrested.
The pair are due to appear in the Hamilton District Court on 6 May, charged with arson.
"We would like to acknowledge and thank the members of the public who provided information that assisted in our investigation."
