A person has died and others are seriously injured after two crashes in Waikato.
Emergency services were called to the first, single-vehicle crash on Kawhia Road, Oparau, about 8.45pm on Sunday.
Police said the sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Meanwhile, others are believed to be seriously hurt following a second crash - involving two-vehicles - in Hamilton on Monday morning.
Police said they were called to Wairere Road, Queenwood, just after 7am.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area, with diversions in place.
