Three floors in the Greenlane Clinical Centre are still impacted by a widespread power outage that hit the Auckland medical centre last night.
The power outage was caused by a minor water leak in building four that damaged the circuit boards.
The leak has been fixed.
In a statement, Acting Group Director of Operations, Margaret Dotchin, said there were 12 inpatients in Building 4 at the time of the outage.
"All areas across the building have access to essential power," she said.
"Three floors remain partially impacted, which include the Greenlane surgical unit, staff changing rooms and non-clinical office spaces."
She said staff are working to confirm the number of patient appointments impacted by the outage, with some surgeries and outpatient care deffered today.

"Contingencies are in place to ensure minimal disruptions to patients, whānau and staff.
"We have had to defer some planned care and outpatient appointments today. If you have not heard from us about your appointment, please attend as planned," she said.
In 2023, Christchurch Hospital also experienced a major outage that affected all of their systems.

There were 478 patients in the hospital, including 96 in the emergency department, when the blackout happened two years ago.
Last month, Auckland Hospital also confirmed a main water pipe had burst, with a full shutdown of the water system in the main building for up to 10 hours.
