A person is being sought after three men were reported to be involved in an altercation in central Auckland.
Police said emergency services were called to Lower Albert Street at 7.45pm on Friday.
One man was reported to be in possession of a "handheld weapon" - which had since been recovered, police said.
Two men had been taken into custody so far.
Police said the public will notice an additional Police presence in the area while they worked to locate the third person involved.
