A man has died after being hit by a truck in Auckland's Parnell on Wednesday afternoon.
St John responded just after 2pm and sent two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle to the scene on The Strand in Parnell.
Police said one person was taken to Auckland City Hospital with critical injuries but later died.
An investigation is underway and The Strand has reopened.
