A police officer was injured while attending a car crash in Auckland after another vehicle crashed into the back of the police car.
Southbound lanes on the Ellerslie-Panmure Highway, just after the Penrose Rd overbridge, were blocked by the crash early this morning.
The lanes reopened about 6.45am but Waka Kotahi warned there would still be delays.
The police officer has minor injuries and no one else is injured.
