A 21-year-old man is in a stable condition after being stabbed in Auckland last night.

The police say the man was stabbed in the chest just before midnight at a property on Gadsby Road in Favona.
He underwent surgery last night at Middlemore Hospital.
The police have yet to arrest anyone over the incident.
