A crash between a truck and two cars on Auckland's Southern Motorway is causing delays for afternoon commuters.
The crash happened near the northbound Greenlane off-ramp, police said, and was causing delays.
Originally all three northbound lanes were closed, but by 5pm all three were re-opened.
Police said afternoon commuters should expect delays through the afternoon as the scene would need to be cleared.
NZTA advised commuters should delay their journey or use an alternate route.
According to Google Maps, traffic was very heavy on SH1 from the city centre all the way to Manukau. SH20 was also experiencing heavy traffic from Māngere to Manukau.
Traffic heading north or west of the city was still flowing well, for a Friday afternoon.
