A man is in custody after threatening nurses striking in central Christchurch.
Police said officers responded to reports of two men behaving threateningly towards nurses gathered in Cashel Street just before 10.30am Wednesday.
A man was taken into custody for disorderly behaviour, police said.
An investigation into the threat is ongoing.
