Countdown supermarket is restricting the the sale of Lindauer's new Sparkling Grape Juice to people with ID and only during the store's alcohol-dealing hours. Despite the bottle being labelled as "alcohol-free" the supermarket released a statement saying it doesn't want to "normalise" a product that looks like alcohol. Dr Nicki Jackson, Executive Director of the Alcohol Healthwatch, believes countdown needs to go a step further and make sure the product is placed alongside wine and beer, and not in aisles where kids may see it.
