The Mixtape: Gareth Shute

The author of five non fiction books about music and creativity in Aotearoa, Gareth Shute's latest is called Songs From the Shaky Isles: A Short History of Popular Music in New Zealand. He also writes for music history website Audioculture, and has played in bands like The Brunettes, and more recently Thee Golden Geese. He joins us to share seven favourite songs.
