So So Modern gained notoriety quickly not only for their tight, and exciting live sets, but for their futuristic, matching hooded suits, and the development of a vibrant scene around them. The Wellington based quartet sprung fully formed, with a sound that really was, so, so modern in early 2005. After a handful of EPs containing two tracks each, they've returned from the UK and US armed with a seven track mini-album called Friendly Fires.
