Wooden Shjips guitarist Ripley Johnson and Sanae Yamada are Moon Duo.
A lot has happened since Music 101 last caught up with the psych rock pairing in 2013.
In fact the duo have turned into a trio… and earlier this year released their third studio length album Shadow of the Sun.
The band toured the North Island earlier this week, and Zac Arnold caught up with singer/guitarist Ripley Johnson.
