Peter Hook has been a pioneer in music and founding member of two of the world's most influential bands, Joy Division and New Order.
He has been widely observed as one of the most distinctive bass players of all time.
Maggie Tweedie sat down with the artist ahead of his three date New Zealand tour in May to dig into his fascinating music career and the soft spot he has for kiwis.

The Taite Music Awards celebrate the independent spirit - and independently signed artists.
The top prize went to Vera Ellen for her album Ideal Home Noise.
Look Blue Go Purple received the Independent Music NZ Classic Record award for their 1991 compilation album.
