Aortic dissection survivor urges rapid CT scans

10 years ago, Auckland-resident Peter Fleming survived an aortic dissection, a rare but deadly tear in the body's main artery. The condition is often fatal, is missed in more than 50% of cases and 90% of patients don't survive before reaching a specialist centre. He spoke to Corin Dann.
