Two Auckland seats uncontested

Auckland's Deputy Mayor is one of two candidates in the city's local election pool standing uncontested this year. There were a total of 476 nominations for the 2025 Auckland elections, with two seats in Orakei and Rodney wards to go unchallenged in September.
