One of New Zealand's most accomplished drivers, six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon, is going to be inducted into the US Motorsport Hall of Fame.
The 42-year-old says he's extremely honoured to be named in the hall of fame's "Class of 2024".
Dixon joined IndyCar back in 2002, racing for the Chip Ganassi Racing team, where he remains to this day.
He's racing as we speak in the Grand Prix of Long Beach in California, and he sits third in the overall IndyCar standings.
Fellow New Zealand race car driver, Greg Murphy, spoke to Corin Dann.
