Transpower issues grid warning over generation concerns

If you're feeling cold there's not great news for people in the North Island. Transpower has issued a warning notice this morning that there is a risk of insufficient generation and reserve offers to meet demand in the North Island. The national grid operator Transpower has called on power companies to ramp up generation this morning to meet an expected surge in demand and manage demand where needed.
