Wellingtonians are relieved to see the ball rolling on reopening their beloved central city library.
It was closed in 2019 because it was an earthquake risk and now the city council's unveiled draft designs for an $187 million upgrade.
As Jake McKee reports, library-goers are also keen to hold on to the pop-up libraries that have opened in the meantime.
