British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has met with the German chancellor Angela Merkel to kick off his first foreign trip since taking over the leadership.
Mr Johnson wants changes to the Brexit agreement negotiated by Theresa May and is seeking to have the Irish backstop taken out.
