Tech, world leaders sign Christchurch Call pledge in Paris
Tech companies and world leaders have signed an unprecedented Christchurch Call agreement that aims to prevent a repeat of the livestreaming of the the Christchurch terror attacks. Leaders from 17 countries and eight major tech companies adopted the call at the first of its kind meeting in Paris. The Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and French President Emmanuel Macron spoke after the summit. Ms Ardern says she wants a more humane internet.
