Wellington Opera House doorman dismissed in staff memo

A Wellington MP has contacted the Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency to complain about the way it's dismissed staff. Peter Frater has been working as a doorman at the Opera House for 15 years. However he found out via a staff memo he was being replaced by a security guard in the wake of the Christchurch terror attacks. His local MP in Rongotai is Labour's Paul Eagle. Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency has now apologised to Mr Frater.
