A new Green MP who was a refugee says New Zealand's silence has made it complicit in human rights abuse in Australian offshore detention. The United Nations has warned the closure of the Manus Island detention centre will cause a humanitarian crisis, and detainees are hoping Jacinda Ardern will convince Australia to send some of them here.
