Services will be held today in Honiara to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle for Guadalcanal, which began on August 7, 1942. Nearly 38,000 soldiers - most of them Japanese - died during the campaign. RNZ Pacific’s Jamie Tahana reports.
