Thousands of festivalgoers in Hamilton over the weekend must monitor for Covid-19 symptoms, after attending a possible superspreader event.
Reports of a suspected Covid case at Soundsplash Festival had been circulating since yesterday, but it wasn't confirmed by the Ministry of Health until mid-morning today.
Attendees are advised to monitor for symptoms for 10 days after exposure and get tested if they develop symptoms.
