Chris Herwig - Soviet bus stops

Canadian photographer Chris Herwig cycled from London to St Petersburg and took these stunning photographs of Soviet bus stops along the way. Inspired by mosques, shells, triangles, birds, geometric shapes and any number of other designs, the Soviets designed these most prosaic of structures to be anything but ordinary.
