NZ goes into Level 4 lockdown - PM
New Zealand's level 4 lockdown comes after the Ministry of Health announced a new case of Covid-19 in the community on Auckland's North Shore yesterday. The case is a 58-year-old man from Devonport who hasn't yet been vaccinated. He lives with his wife, who has been vaccinated, and has tested negative. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made the announcement last night alongside Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield. She said while that they have not been able to confirm whether the case is of the Delta Variant or not, government is working under the assumption that it is.
