Shane Reti talks vaccines, travel bubble, and cyber security

Quarantine-free travel will resume with Western Australia and Northern Territory from midnight Friday, and New Zealanders from New South Wales and Queensland will be able to fly home despite those states continuing to record community cases of Covid-19. Making the announcement yesterday, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said Western Australia and Northern Territory have contained their outbreaks and can rejoin the trans-Tasman bubble. They join Victoria, South Australia, ACT and Tasmania, which resumed quarantine-free travel with New Zealand yesterday. Despite the travel pause remaining in place for New South Wales and Queensland, the government will allow people who live in New Zealand to return home, subject to requirements. The Prime Minister said that the first deliveries from a new batch of 150-thousand Pfizer vaccines were set to be made to the country's DHBs starting last night.
