Country Life this week visits former Wellington mayor Celia Wade-Brown at her off-grid tiny house in the Tararua ranges. She chats about how to farm carbon and living a simpler life with geckos, skinks and eels while regenerating the bush on her doorstep. Also, Plant and Food Research scientists Ross Bicknell and Philippa Barrell  are leading a project focused on developing new variants of pinot noir grapes to help the wine industry address current and anticipated challenges.
