The government's radical overhaul of pay equity laws is having its final reading in Parliament, with opposition parties fuming that the controversial reforms are being rail-roaded through under urgency. Workplace Minister Brooke van Velden on Tuesday announced the government will raise the threshold for proving work has been historically undervalued when making a pay equity claim.
