Number of children hospitalised to dog attacks

The death of a child following a dog attack has been referred to the coroner and police are continuing to investigate the incident. Four year old Timothy Tu'uaki Rolleston-Bryan, was critically wounded on Friday at a property north of Katikati, in the Tuapiro area. The Western Bay of Plenty District Council has three dogs taken from a property and they're now in the Te Puke animal shelter. Auckland emergency specialist doctor Natasha Duncan-Sutherland spoke to Lisa Owen.
