Auckland woman faced brain injury after hit by e-scooter

"I was just an innocent bystander and then my life changed forever." Those are the feelings of an Auckland woman who was hit by an e-scooter which caused a severe brain injury. ACC said it's been receiving over 90 e-scooter claims a year on average since 2019. There are calls to introduce an insurance tariff so e-scooter companies take on some of the cost and responsibility for injuries. Louise Ternouth has the story.
